Having previously partnered with agency 10 Feet Tall on a highly successful, playful campaign for Happy Happy Soy Boy, we were thrilled to be invited back with a new creative challenge for Quilton.
The film takes us on a journey above the clouds as Quilton’s classic soft, white toilet rolls gently progress along a magical conveyor-belt nestled amongst the clouds.
Contrasting the peaceful serenity of the setting, an over the top 80’s Hair Rock soundtrack introduces a busy workshop of baby Cupids playfully collecting and wrapping the toilet rolls before they’re delivered to your bathroom.
The central element of the campaign was the evolution of the classic Quilton Cupid who has been a staple of their marketing presence for over two decades.
The agency developed the initial idea and character direction, combining creative thinking with detailed visual exploration to shape the look and feel of the evolved Quilton Cupid.
Using this as a jumping off point, we created refined illustration mockups & 3D sculpts, finessing all the finer details down to the last fingernail.
A custom character rig combined with dynamic hair simulations and jiggle deformers, allowed our animators to bring all the subtle nuance and charm the character performance deserved.
