Origins

Chanel

Job Description

In 2014 we were lucky enough to be approached by iconic fashion brand Chanel to participate in their Digital Arts Program. Our brief was to produce 3 separate animations that respond to a set of abstract codes originally developed by Gabrielle Chanel.

The 3 x 5 minute animations were screened worldwide in all Chanel stores on various screens, walls and building facades. Whilst visiting Japan in early 2014 we were able to view the 10 storey screen projection on the Chanel building facade in Ginza, Tokyo - an impressive site.

The sequence shown is short cut down showcasing one of our animations from the program. 'Origins' is a response to the the iconic shape of the Chanel No.5 bottle and it's relationship to the Place Vendome in Paris, France.
